Wills and Estate Planning

Your Will lets you pass your property to whom you want, not to whom the judge says.

In addition to directing your assets, a Will should include appointing an executor, establishing a trust for your minor children, designating who will be the guardian of your children, burial instructions, and who will care for your pets among other things.

A Last Will and Testament is particularly important with blended families, minor children and in order to avoid estate taxes. Bob Brown Law, P.C., has prepared wills for hundreds of Tarrant County residents, and we have the knowledge and experience to make sure your wishes are honored upon death and your estate is protected.

As part of our Will Attorney Services, we will prepare for you a Medical Power of Attorney, Statutory Durable Power of Attorney and Directive to Physicians and Family or Surrogates (the Living Will). We can also advise you on how best to organize your non-probate assets, such as life insurance, retirement accounts, and bank accounts so your family can, in many cases, avoid

probate altogether.
