Your Will lets you pass your property to whom you want, not to whom the judge says.

 

In addition to directing your assets, a Will should include appointing an executor, establishing a trust for your minor children, designating who will be the guardian of your children, burial instructions, and who will care for your pets among other things.

 

A Last Will and Testament is particularly important with blended families, minor children and in order to avoid estate taxes. We can also advise you on how best to organize your non-probate assets, such as life insurance, retirement accounts, and bank accounts so your family can, in many cases, avoid

probate altogether.
